Abstract

The article enlightens the use of active methods in the conditions of professionally-aimed foreign language ac­quisition in non-linguistic higher schools. The article elucidates questions concerning the use of active meth­ods of foreign language acquisition in non-linguistic higher schools. Professionally-aimed foreign lan­guage acquisition to students of a non-linguistic higher school is the most effective due to such methods as an educational role-game, a method of projects and a discussion. Active methods of teaching a foreign language in a non-linguistic University contribute to the formation of cognitive and professional motives and interests: education of system thinking of the future specialist; give a holistic view of professional activity. Use of active methods such as educational role-playing, project method, and discussion. contributes to the effectiveness of the process of professionally-oriented teaching of a foreign language.
