SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE CRIME OF EMBEZZLEMENT AND OTHER ECONOMIC CRIMES

Abstract

Various scholars have expressed differing opinions on distinguishing the crime of embezzlement from other types of crimes. In particular, a number of scientific and theoretical studies have been conducted on criminal liability for misappropriation, embezzlement, or abuse of official position for the purpose of property theft. This scientific work examines the concept of theft, which falls under the category of property crimes such as robbery, assault, theft, misappropriation or embezzlement, and fraud. It also explores the differences between embezzlement and other crimes in the economic sphere such as robbery, fraud, assault, and theft.
