LEGAL FOUNDATIONS OF MANDATORY MEDICAL EXAMINATION OF PERSONS ENTERING INTO MARRIAGE IN FAMILY LAW

This scientific article analyzes the legal foundations of the mandatory medical examination of persons intending to enter into marriage within family law. It examines the legal mechanisms regulating the procedure for conducting medical examinations of persons intending to marry, as well as the purpose and significance of this process, based on the relevant provisions of the Family Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and sectoral regulatory legal acts. The article also analyzes the role of mandatory medical examinations in determining the health condition of persons intending to marry, preventing certain diseases, enabling the parties to make informed decisions regarding marriage and future family life, and establishing a healthy family environment. The legal and social significance of this institution is revealed on the basis of current legislation, and the necessity of undergoing a medical examination during the process of entering into marriage is examined from a scientific and theoretical perspective.
