PECULIARITIES OF INSTILLING THE SKILL OF INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL COMMUNICATION TO STUDENTS IN THE AGE OF GLOBALIZATION

Abstract

The relevance of the problem under study is due to the processes of globalization and informatization, the increase in migration flows, the expansion of international contacts with carriers of different cultures at different levels, the formation of a single world economic, informational, cultural, educational space. Strengthening the cultural diversity of society required a revision of global human values, the need to develop productive ways of teaching and educating the younger generation, including intercultural relations.

The purpose of this article is to study the features of instilling the skills of a culture of interethnic communication in students and the development of multicultural education for the implementation of a new paradigm of education. The article presents the conditions, forms and mechanisms of the formation of intercultural communication of students. It was found that intercultural communication as a complex multidimensional phenomenon of interpersonal interaction between representatives of different linguistic cultures includes value-orientational, cultural-communicative, personal components and presupposes intercultural competence, focus on interaction and tolerance of partners.
