SPEECH ETIQUETTE AS A MEANS OF DEVELOPING THE COMMUNICATIVE ACTIVITY OF STUDENTS

This article examines the role and place of speech etiquette in teaching students to communicate in the social and socio-cultural spheres of communication. Also, the methodical techniques provided in the process of working on the training material using the formulas of speech etiquette are provided.
The material focuses on the communicative activation of the knowledge and skills available to freshmen and on filling gaps in the development of speech skills.
The role of university teachers, including teachers of the Russian language, is to educate a truly polite and well-mannered person who knows how to conduct a dialogue on any topic.
