ARCHITECTURE OF SPECIAL PROCESSORS IN DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING

This article provides a detailed overview of the architecture of specialized processors in the field of Digital Signal Processing (DSP). DSP technology is applied in areas such as audio, video, radio communication, radar, and medicine. The article explores the operating principles of digital signal processors, their structure based on Von Neumann and Harvard architectures, and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of these architectures. Modern DSP devices, exemplified by Blackfin processors, and their performance levels are also discussed. The article highlights the capabilities of DSP technology in real-time operation, low power consumption, and high efficiency.
