ELABORATION OF RECOMMENDATIONS TO RAISE THE PLACE OF THE UNIVERSITY IN WEBOMETRICS RANKING

The article examines the Webometrics rating methodology of the higher education institution’s scientific activity in the web world, analyzes the results, and discusses recommendations for improving the university’s position in this ranking. The rating of universities by Webometrics is analyzed based on indicators for 1 year using the example of universities in Uzbekistan. The Webometrics ranking methodology and assessment criteria were analyzed, and simple and relevant recommendations were developed for future implementation in higher education institutions.
