Ushbu maqolada so'z erkinligi tushunchasining ijtimoiy taraqqiyotdagi eng muhim hodisa sifatidagi jihatlari ko'rib chiqiladi. Zamonaviy kontekstda “so’z erkinligi” tushunchasining asosiy formulalari va ijtimoiy-falsafiy talqini berilgan. Jamiyatning barqaror rivojlanishini shakllantirish, bag‘rikenglik va barqarorlikni saqlash uchun ma’lum darajada so‘z erkinligi talab etilishi qayd etilgan. Ta’kidlanganidek, so’z erkinligi erkinlik tushunchasidan farq qilib, so’z erkinligi jamiyatni demokratlashtirishning asosiy shartlaridan bo’lib, erkin fikrlash va ozchilikning o’z qadr-qimmatini saqlab qolish o’rtasidagi nozik muvozanatidir. So’z erkinligining adekvat nazariyasi asosiy talablari keltirilgan
