Mazkur maqolada ingliz tilini maxsus maqsadlarda (ESP) o‘rganayotgan neft va gaz yo‘nalishida tahsil olayotgan talabalarga tilni topshiriqlar asosida o‘rganish (TBL) usulining samaradorligi ko‘rib chiqiladi. TBL tamoyillarini qo‘llashni baholash uchun ikkita faoliyat turi taqqoslandi: biri PowerPoint (PPT) taqdimotlarini yaratishni o‘z ichiga oladi, ikkinchisi esa vizual vositalar ishlatmasdan faqat og‘zaki taqdimotlardan iborat. Natijalar loyihaviy topshiriqlarning hamkorlikni rivojlantirish, maxsus leksika va lingvistik mahoratdan foydalanishdagi muhim afzalliklarini ko‘rsatadi. Mavzuni Power Point taqdimotlari bilan tayyorlagan talabalar qo‘shimcha vositalarsiz, og‘zaki vazifalarni bajargan talabalarga nisbatan yuqori darajadagi o‘zaro munosabat, mavzuni chuqurroq tushunish va tilni mustaqil qo‘llash ko‘nikmalarini namoyon etdilar.
