PROSPECTS FOR THE LIBERALIZATION OF THE GAS MARKET AND THE CREATION OF A GAS HUB IN UZBEKISTAN

This article considers the main problems of the gas industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the significance of gas market liberalization and the main ways of its implementation. It is proposed to create a gas hub and organize an exchange for trading this energy resource on its basis in order to establish a transparent market pricing mechanism and development of a competitive environment.
