Abstract

The paper considers the current state of development of powder porous permeable materials based on metals and their alloys. A classification of porous materials according to their functional purpose is presented, and the main operational requirements and contradictions arising during their application are analyzed. Technologies for producing porous materials based on copper, nickel, titanium, iron, and corrosion-resistant steels are reviewed. A comparative analysis of the advantages and limitations of various metallic porous materials is carried out, and promising directions for their further development are identified.
