The article provides an analysis in modern conditions, the role and importance in the formation of a system of state assurance of product quality and safety in the Republic of Uzbekistan is assigned to the implementation of the provisions of the Law "On Technical Regulation". The characteristics of the types of technical regulations, the procedure for the formation of technical regulations, as well as the procedure for the development of technical regulations are considered.
