The article is devoted to the causes of complications during the development and operation of wells associated with the removal of rock and sand from poorly cemented rocks that make up the near-wellbore zone of an oil-bearing reservoir. The article describes the conditions for the occurrence of severe consequences in the form of grabbing drill pipes and collapses during well development and repair. It provides recommendations for preventing and controlling sand and rock inflows. The article also substantiates the need for the development of technologies and devices that can prevent the destruction of wellbore integrity and the removal of poorly cemented rock under conditions of high-pressure differences between the productive formation and the well, specifically in the Fergana oil and gas region.
