Abstract

Modern development of the oil and gas industry requires not only increasing the efficiency of field development, but also ensuring environmental safety when injecting fluids into the subsoil. In these conditions, time-lapse geophysics technologies (or 4D monitoring), based on repeated measurements of the physical properties of rocks and formations over time, are of particular importance. The purpose of this paper is to consider innovative approaches to the use of time-lapse geophysics methods for monitoring fluid dynamics in productive and adjacent intervals, with an emphasis on environmental safety, as well as the possibility of their application in Uzbekistan.
