Abstract

It is believed that one of the most essential objectives of spiritual and aesthetic education
to develop young people’s interest in serious classical music, in particular in musical theater.
invaluable source of formation of high spiritual, moral, intellectual and cultural qualities of
individual is musical theater and, in particular, opera, which is presented in the repertoire of
State Opera and Ballet Theater named after Alisher Navoi. The perception of opera is a single
educational task that should be approached seriously and responsibly. There is no doubt that this
objective is of great importance, since a successful solution contributes to the formation of
a harmoniously developed personality - a personality of a new formation, a personality of the future
