The fund of inactive wells, in particular, abandoned wells can serve as additional sources
of electricity generation due to geothermal activity in Uzbekistan. The paper proposes an alternative Rankine cycle with 3000 m deep well and a downhole heat exchanger as a heating system. According to the results of calculations, the useful power generated per cycle can be up to 700 kW. At the same time, the unit costs for field research and construction of the geothermal power plant will pay off in 7 years.
