Ushbu tadqiqot pedagogikaning fan sifatida rivojlanishi, pedagogikaning yo‘nalishi haqida ma’lumot beradi. Muallif pedagogikaning asosiy maqsadi shaxs shaxsining ma’naviy madaniyatini shakllantirish va ta’lim muassasalari faoliyatining samaradorligini xalq pedagogik an’analari belgilaydi, deb hisoblaydi. Ma'naviyat muammosi, birinchi navbatda, ijtimoiy ongning e'tiqod kabi shakli bilan bog'liq. Shuningdek, ushbu maqolada ta'lim tizimida shaxsni har tomonlama va ko'p qirrali rivojlantirish muammosi ko'rib chiqiladi. Ta'lim maqsadlari o'rtasidagi aniq farq ta'lim muassasalarining amaliy faoliyatiga bevosita kirish imkonini beradi
