FEATURES OF THE "PRACTICE-ORIENTED MODEL" IN JOURNALISM EDUCATION

The article examines the “practice-oriented model” in journalism education in comparison with the “academic model of teaching” based on theory. The first experiment in the history of Uzbek national journalism education and the extent to which its elements are reflected in modern field education are analyzed. Foreign experience - the role of the "practice-oriented model" in improving the quality and effectiveness of education, mainly through the experience of Russian and American universities of journalism and the scientific views of scientists. The article concludes with a summary of the mechanisms for implementing this model.
