Maktabgacha ta’lim muassasalarida bolalarni tarbiyalash jarayonida folklor janrlaridan foydalanish juda samarali. Oilalarda ham turli yoshdagi odamlar ertak, hikoya, maqol, topishmoq, boshqotirma, qo‘shiq, latifa, ertaklardan farzand tarbiyasi uchun foydalanadilar. Ota-onalar hamon yotishdan oldin ertak yoki qo‘shiq aytadilar, farzandlari esa ma’naviy ozuqa oladi, hayotdagi yaxshi va yomon fazilatlarni o‘rganadi, hurmat, mehr-oqibat, adolat kabi tushunchalar haqida tushunchaga ega bo‘ladi. Ushbu maqolada folklor janrlarini o‘rganishning ta’limdagi ahamiyati haqida to‘xtalib, maktabgacha ta’lim muassasasida yetti yoshgacha bo‘lgan bolalarda Vatanga muhabbat tuyg‘usini shakllantirishda xalq og‘zaki ijodidan foydalanishning samarali usullarini belgilab beraman. muassasalar.
