Without drawings, it is impossible to imagine the development of science and technology. Architects and engineers can only fully express their creative ideas through drawings. According to the drawings, all engineering structures will be built, machines, machine parts, medical products, etc. will be produced. The article presents the solution of various metric and positional problems in the field of descriptive geometry, increasing the graphic literacy of students, knowledge, methods of applying the theoretical laws of descriptive geometry, content and essence, spatial imagination and skills. In addition, metric and positional problems help students gain a deeper understanding of descriptive geometry.
