Abstract

This article deals with the peculiarities of the effective use of various teaching methods and tools to improve the communicative skills in the process of teaching English to cadets of military universities. Improving the communication skills of cadets in a foreign language not only develops their interactive abilities, but also contributes to their socio-cultural development as an individual, emotional and psychological development. Also, the development of students' communicative ability in a foreign language is an ability that allows them to communicate effectively with others, and it contributes to the achievement of a high level in this process. At the same time, in the article is recommended the basic methodological principles for developing students' communicative skills in a foreign language.
