The article considers modern approaches to the organization of independent training of cadets in military universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan. There are contradictions between the existing system of independent educational activities of cadets and new requirements for the educational process.
The need to update the content and organize independent training of future officers, expand its territorial borders and remove strict time limits is emphasized. The possibilities of information and analytical support are shown.
