THE ROLE OF MOTIFS IN ALISHER NAVOIY’S EPIC “LAYLI AND MAJNUN”

The location of each element in the composition of the work must be aimed at demonstrating the author’s artistic and ideological intention. The works created on the basis of this criterion are evaluated as meaningful. The motive, which is considered are subject element, is a composition of samples of Uzbek classical literature, including “Khamsa” epics, which has a special value. The article analyzes the role of motives in the composition of the work in Alisher Navoi’s epic “Layli and Majnun” and the presence of folklore motives in the epic. In order to understand the specific aspects of the motives in the subject of Navoi’s epic, the article effectively used the comparative method to compare it with the epics of its predecessors of the same name. attention was also paid to the question of the genesis of the origin of the motives in the epic.
