Bachadon bo'yni saratoni  bir qancha onkologik kasalliklar qatoriga kiradi, ular erta aniqlansa, muvaffaqiyatli davolanadi, bu umumiy omon qolish darajasining oshishiga, takrorlanish ehtimolining pasayishiga, bemorlarning hayot sifatini oshirishga va davolanish xarajatlarini kamaytirishga olib keladi. Bachadon bo'yni saratonining asosiy sababi odam papilloma virusining  onkogen shtammlari bo'lib, ularni skrining tekshiruvlari orqali oldini olish mumkin.
