Замонавий диагностик усулларнинг кенг жорий этилишига, кўплаб дори-воситаларнинг пайдо бўлишига қарамай, юрак-қон-томир касалликларини текшириш ва даволаш муаммоси жуда долзарб бўлиб қолмоқда. Хусусан, касалликнинг кучайиши даврида диагностика ва даволаш, ўткир миокард инфаркти ва тўсатдан ўлимнинг ривожланиши билан боғлиқ. Стенокардия юрак коронар артерияларнинг атеросклерозидан кейин келиб чиқадиган касаллик бўлиб, бунинг натижасида кислород етказиб бериш ва миокард талаби ўртасида мувоазанат бузилади.
