Ekstrahepatik xolestaz asosiy ekstrahepatik yoki asosiy intrahepatik kanallarning mexanik obstruktsiyasi bilan sodir bo'ladi. Ekstrahepatik xolestazning eng ko'p uchraydigan sababi - umumiy o't yo'llari toshlari. Maqolada o't yo'llari va axolida xolestazda rivojlanayotgan gipertenziya tasvirlanadi, bu jigarda jiddiy funktsional va morfologik o'zgarishlarni keltirib chiqaradi va jigar etishmovchiligining tez o'sishiga olib keladi. Shunday qilib, ekstrahepatik xolestazning rivojlanish dinamikasida, tajribali hayvonlarning qon zardobida giperenzimemiya bilan namoyon bo'ladigan sezilarli siljishlar mavjud. Bu o'zgarishlar patologik jarayonda jigarning ishtirokini ko'rsatadi, bu tabiiy ravishda ularni tuzatishni talab qiladi.
