Маълумки, сурункали периодонтит патогенезида остеокластларнинг патологик фаоллашуви ва суяк резорбсияси билан периодонтал комплекснинг йўқ қилинишига олиб келадиган алтератив яллиғланиш ҳодисалари устунлик қилади, тадқиқотчилар периодонтал тўқималарнинг регенерациясини яхшилайдиган даволашнинг янги усулларини изламоқдалар. . Ушбу усуллардан бири "Плазмолифтинг" - тромбоцитлар плазмасининг инъекция шакли бўлиб, олимлар МД томонидан ишлаб чиқилган. Aхмеров Р.Р. ва Зарудий Р.Ф. 2004 йилда ва махиллофаcиал минтақанинг турли яллиғланиш ва атрофик шароитларини даволашда қўлланилади.
