Umumiy amaliyotda bemorlarning 25 foizida depressiya va xavotir buzulish kasalliklari kuzatiladi. Depressiyasi bo’lgan bemorlarning qariyb 85 foizi tashvishga ega va tashvi bo’lgan bemorlarning 90 foizi depressiyaga ega. Depressiya va tashvish kasaliki tegishli davolanishni talab qiladiini isbotladi. Kognitiv xulq-atvor terapiyasi kabi psixologik terapiya ham, bazida antipsikotiklar bilan to’ldirilib, depressiya va xavotirni davolashda foydali ekanligini isbotladi.
