Буйрак ретинопати-бу CРФ нинг оғир кеч микроваскуляр асорати ва иш ёшидаги одамлар орасида дунёдаги кўрликнинг сабабларидан бири. Окт - а фундусда буйрак ретинопатиясининг клиник кўринишлари бўлмаган тақдирда ҳам тўр пардадаги микроваскуляр ўзгаришларни аниқлаш имконини беради. Буйрак ретинопатиясида тўр парданинг микросиркулятор ётоғидаги ўзгаришларнинг маркерлари фовеал аваскуляр зонадаги сифат ва миқдорий ўзгаришлар ва касалликнинг ривожланиши билан ортиб борадиган капилляр тармоқ зичлигининг пасайиши ҳисобланади.
