Ушбу мақолада қарилик макуляр дегенерацияси учун мавжуд бўлган функционал диагностика усулларининг таҳлил қилишга бағишланган тизимсиз адабиётлар шарҳи берилган. Фотостресс тести, электроокулография, қоронғуликга мослашувчанликни ўрганиш, контраст сезгирлик функциясини баҳолаш, ёруғлик ва ранг сезгирлигини ўрганиш ва электроретинография усуллардан фойдаланиш бўйича моҳиятни тарифлаш, афзалликлар ва камчиликлар, шунингдек адабиётларда мавжуд бўлган маълумотлар тасвирланган. Адабиёт маълумотларини таҳлил қилиш асосида ҳозирги вақтда қарилик макуляр дегенерациясида функционал диагностиканинг кенг маълумотли ва қулай усулларини излаш зарурияти, айниқса унинг эрта ташхис қўйилиши зарурлиги кўрсатилди.
