ADAPTATION OF DIET NO. 5 BY M. I. PEVZNER TO TRADITIONAL UZBEK CUISINE IN THE POSTOPERATIVE PERIOD

Abstract

Therapeutic nutrition constitutes an integral component of comprehensive rehabilitation in patients after surgical interventions involving the hepatobiliary system. This article presents a modified version of the classical Diet No. 5 developed by M. I. Pevzner, adapted to the national gastronomic traditions of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The proposed dietary regimen is aimed at reducing the functional load on the liver and biliary tract, preventing postoperative complications, and improving patient adherence to long-term dietary therapy.
