MODERN METHODS FOR DIAGNOSING HEREDITARY EYE DISEASES IN THE SURXONDARYO REGION

This article analyzes the prevalence, etiology, and modern diagnostic methods of hereditary eye diseases in the Surkhandarya region. If not diagnosed early, hereditary ocular diseases may lead to visual impairment and disability. Clinical features of retinitis pigmentosa, congenital cataract, glaucoma, albinism, and the role of molecular genetic diagnostics are discussed. Recommendations for improving diagnostic efficiency under regional conditions are provided.
