Мақолада Ўзбекистон Республикаси прокуратураси тизимидаги ўзини ўзи бошқариш органларининг ўрни, тузилмаси, вазифалари ва прокуратура фаолияти самарадорлигини оширишдаги аҳамияти кўриб чиқилган. Халқаро стандартларга мувофиқ шаффофликни, ҳисобдорликни ва стратегик бошқарувни таъминлашда ўзини ўзи бошқариш органларининг муҳимлиги таъкидланган. Қарор қабул қилиш, кадрлар масаласи ва вазифалар ижросини назорат қилиш каби фаолиятнинг асосий жиҳатлари таҳлил этилган. Шу билан бирга, Ўзбекистон Республикаси прокуратураси тизимидаги ўзини ўзи бошқариш органларининг ишини такомиллаштириш бўйича АҚШ, Германия, Хитой ва Жанубий Корея каби хорижий мамлакатлар тажрибаси ўрганилиши асосида ишлаб чиқилган тавсиялар келтирилган.
