Abstract

This article analyzes the pedagogical mechanisms for developing the research activities of future teaching personnel in the context of academic freedom. The concept of academic freedom is multidimensional and is interpreted differently based on various scientific approaches. In the modern higher education system, academic freedom serves as an important factor in fostering students’ independent thinking, research activities, and innovative development. Based on the experience of foreign universities, the study examines the organization of students’ research activities, the creation of an academic freedom environment, and the elimination of limitations encountered in scientific activity. Furthermore, the article highlights the pedagogical opportunities for enhancing the scientific potential of future teachers, developing their research competencies, and effectively implementing academic freedom within the educational process.
