The article analyzes ecological factors (water scarcity, soil salinization, Orol Sea impact) and issues of sustainable regional development in the economy of Khorezm region. Based on statistical data, the development of agriculture, industry, and tourism sectors is examined. The research results demonstrate the impact of ecological constraints on economic growth and propose sustainable alternatives (ecotourism, water-saving technologies).
