INFORMATION ON THE HISTORY OF BACTRIA AND KUSHAN

The historical situation in Central Asia from the second and first millennia B.C. to the beginning of our era was in very hard condition. At the same time, desert tribes began to migrate from the shores of the Caspian Sea and the Tian Shan mountain ranges to the northern provinces. According to the academician V.V.Bartold, there also Aryans who migrated from the desert areas north of the Black Sea and later assimilated with the local population. Probably for this reason, the remains of tribes and their graves were found in the valley of Fergana and Zeravshan in the lower reaches of the Amu Darya. In this connection, the system of statehood began to take shape in Bactria and the Margiana Oasis, in lands inhabited by different tribes from the second half of the second millennium B.C. As a result of this process, the entire history of our region can not be imagined without Sughd, Bactrian and Kushan states. However, in this regard, it should be noted that the study of the history of Central Asia has not yet reached its climax from a geographical point of view. The reason lies in the fact that during the Soviet era, the about mentioned events that took place in Central Asia - were generalised and transposed into Central Asia.
