Tadqiqotning maqsadi morbid semizligi bo‘lgan bemorlarda gernioplastika usulini tanlashni optimallashtirish va operatsiyadan oldingi tayyorgarlikni yaxshilash orqali ventral churralarni davolashni takomillashtirishdan iborat. Tadqiqotga 2012-yildan 2021-yilgacha bo‘lgan davrda SamDTU 1-klinikasining jarrohlik bo‘limida operatsiya qilingan 121 nafar bemor kiritilgan. Takomillashtirilgan pnevmobandajdan foydalanish operatsiyadan oldingi tayyorgarlikni yaxshiladi, gernioplastikadan keyin qorin bo‘shlig‘i gipertenziyasi xavfini kamaytirdi va tiklanishni tezlashtirdi. Operatsiyadan keyingi qorin bo‘shlig‘idan tashqari asoratlar chastotasi 7,4% dan 4,5% gacha, umumiy asoratlar chastotasi esa 14,8% dan 8,9% gacha kamaydi (r=0,045). Shuningdek, gernio- va abdominoplastikadan keyingi operatsiya va reabilitatsiya muddatlari qisqardi.
