Ushbu maqolada O'zbekistonda EFL (ingliz tili chet tili sifatida) sinfida ikkinchi til pragmatik kompetentsiyasini har tomonlama rivojlantirish muhokama qilinadi. Maqolada tilni samarali o‘rganish va ikkinchi til bilan muloqot qilish uchun pragmatik ko‘nikmalarni o‘rgatish muhimligi ta’kidlanadi va EFL o‘quv dasturiga ijtimoiy-pragmatik vazifalar, haqiqiy materiallar va madaniy farqlarni kiritish zarurligiga urg‘u beriladi. Maqolada, shuningdek, o'quvchilarning pragmatik kompetentsiyasini rivojlantirish uchun ishlatilishi mumkin bo'lgan rolli o'yinlar, bahs-munozaralar va muhokamalar kabi turli xil pedagogik yondashuvlar o'rganiladi. Bundan tashqari, maqolada o'quvchilarning tillar o’rtasidagi pragmatikligini oshirish uchun tuzatuvchi fikr-qarashlarni taqdim etish va o'quvchilarni o'zlashtirishga yordam berish muhimligi ko'rsatilgan. Maqola O‘zbekistondagi ingliz tili o‘qituvchilari uchun ta’siri xulosalari bilan yakunlanib, pragmatik kompetentsiyani o‘rgatishda kommunikativ kontekst va madaniy farqlarni hisobga olish va EFL sinfida til o‘rgatishda nutqqa asoslangan yondashuvni kiritish zarurligiga urg‘u beriladi.
