Maqolada hozirgi davrning eng dolzarb masalalaridan biri - mashina tarjimasida uchraydigan muammolar va ularning yechimlari, tezaurus lug’atlarining tarjima sohasida tutgan o’rni va ularning turlari muhokama qilinadi. Zamonaviy axborot qidirish sohasi juda xilma-hil bo’lib,u haqiqatda ma'lumotni qidirish, filtrlash, hujjatlarni turkumlash va klasterlash, savollarga javob izlash, avtomatik izohli hujjatlar va hujjatlar guruhlari, o'xshash hujjatlar va dublikatlarni qidirish, hujjatlarni segmentatsiyalash va boshqalar kabi vazifalarni o'z ichiga oladi. Bunday operatsiyalar amalga oshirilganda, shaxs hujjatning asosiy mazmunini, uning asosiy mavzusini va tag mavzularini aniqlashi kerak va buning uchun odatda til, dunyo, bog'langan matnni tashkil etish haqida ko'p bilimga ega bo'lishi joizdir v ushbu maqolada asosan Wordnet lug’ati vositasida ot so’z turkumlarining semantik- strukturaviy tadqiqi tahlil qilinadi.
