Abstract

The article discusses one of the most urgent issues of the present time - problems encountered in machine translation and their solutions, the role of thesaurus dictionaries in the field of translation and their types. The field of modern information retrieval is very diverse, it actually includes information retrieval, filtering, categorization and clustering of documents, searching for answers to questions, automatically annotating documents and groups of documents, searching for similar documents and duplicates, document segmentation, etc. includes tasks. When performing such operations, a person must determine the main content of the document, its main topic and subtopics, and for this, it is usually permissible to have a lot of knowledge about the language, the world, the organization of the associated text, and in this article, the Wordnet dictionary is mainly used. the semantic-structural study of noun phrases is analyzed.
