CONVERSE TRANSLATION AND ITS SPECIFIC CHARACTERISTICS

The article analyzes the linguistic nature of the phenomenon of converseness and the interpretation of lexical converses in translation. The importance of the syntactic level in the formation of converse relationship of words is analyzed in the examples. Reasonable points are given that converse interpretation is one of the translation strategies.
