Despite modern progress in the diagnosis and treatment of cervical diseases, its pathology remains a major problem for both theoretical medicine and practical gynecology. The number of patients with cervical cancer continues to grow, and therefore the relevance of this problem is of particular importance. One of the reasons for the development of cervical cancer is the highly oncogenic type of human papillomaviruses. The article discusses the clinical and morphological features of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia associated with human papillomavirus. The presented material describes the clinical changes that occur in women with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia caused by human papillomavirus, the nature of their progression, and the causes of their origin.
