Ushbu maqola adabiyotlarni ko'rib chiqish bo'lib, uning maqsadi diagnostikaning zamonaviy yondashuvlari va xususan, 2-toifa bipolyar affektiv buzilishlarni davolash bo'yicha ma'lumot to'plash edi. 2-toifa bipolyar affektiv buzilish davolash yondashuvlari nuqtai nazaridan kam o'rganilmagan kasallik bo'lib qolmoqda. So'nggi yillarda bipolyar affektiv buzilishlarni davolash uchun dorilar ro'yxati kengaydi va terapevtik yondashuvlar, ayniqsa depressiv bosqichlar uchun o'zgardi. Biroq, dori vositalarining samaradorligi bo'yicha dalillarga asoslangan tadqiqotlar asosan 1-toifa bipolyar buzuqlikka qaratilgan, ammo 2-toifa bipolyar affektiv buzuqlik uchun deyarli hech qanday tadqiqot yo'q. Shu munosabat bilan, 2-toifa bipolyar affektiv buzilishlarni davolashda dori vositalarining samaradorligini o'rganishda nafaqat psixiatrlar, balki bipolyar affektiv kasalliklarga chalingan bemorlarning individual xususiyatlarini hisobga olgan holda klinik farmakologlar, terapevtlar va nevrologlarning ham ishlashi kerak.
