Ushbu sharhning maqsadi to‘liq olinadigan protezlar tayyorlash jarayonida markaziy o‘rinni (CR) aniqlash bo‘yicha qo‘llaniladigan asosiy usullarni solishtirish, ularning klinik ishonchliligi va qayta takrorlanuvchanligini baholashdir. Adabiyotlar qidiruvi zamonaviy klinik tadqiqotlar va ekspert konsensuslaridan olingan ma’lumotlarga tayangan holda amalga oshirildi. Tahlil natijalari shuni ko‘rsatdiki, bimanual manipulyatsiya, chin point guidance, gotik yoy (Gothic arch tracing) hamda moslab qayd etish materiallaridan foydalanish texnikalari turlicha darajadagi aniqlik va barqarorlikka ega. Ko‘pchilik manbalarda bimanual manipulyatsiya usuli eng ishonchli klinik yondashuv sifatida qayd etilgan. CRni aniqlashda aniqlikni oshirish uchun klinik algoritmlarni standartlashtirish hamda qayd etish materiallarini to‘g‘ri tanlash muhim omillar hisoblanadi. Sharh CRni aniqlash bo‘yicha qarama-qarshi fikrlarni yoritadi va amaliyotda qo‘llanilishi mumkin bo‘lgan ilmiy asoslangan tavsiyalarni taklif qiladi.
