Abstract

A total of 150 military personnel (40 women and 110 men, aged 40 to 55 years) diagnosed with chronic cerebral ischemia were examined and treated at the Central Military Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
A minimal screening program was used as the research method, including the Mini Cog and Serial Counting tests, as well as the Geriatric Depression Scale – Short Form (GDS-SF). The inclusion of Tabonil in the treatment regimen for military personnel
with chronic cerebral ischemia (CCI) significantly improved treatment efficacy compared to the control group (CG), as assessed by the scales used. The number of patients who made errors in cognitive tests decreased significantly (p<0.05,
McNemar test), and their psychological state improved according to the GDS-SF (p<0.05, Wilcoxon criterion).
