IMPROVING THE LEGAL CONSCIOUSNESS OF WOMEN IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

This article is devoted to the disclosure of the essence of state policy in the field of ensuring women’s rights and gender equality in the new conditions of Uzbekistan. Based on the study and analysis of the available literature, the objective conditions and subjective factors of working conditions, lifestyle, as well as the activation of their role in the construction of a new democratic, legal and civil society in Uzbekistan are analyzed.

The issues of the state of ensuring gender equality and the development of information and communication technologies in Uzbekistan were also considered. The outline of the state strategy in these areas and the main achievements are given. It is noted that the Internet has changed the nature of communication in society, including between men and women, including the conditions in which this communication takes place and which provide the emergence of new opportunities for socio-cultural activities. This circumstance carries both positive and negative aspects.

The author highlights the interdependence of the success of the reforms being carried out on the solution of gender problems. Particular attention is paid to ensuring the rights of women in the areas of labor, education, medical care, including the right to reproduction.
