SOCIOLOGY OF SPORT: HISTORY OF UZBEK FOOTBALL FANS

Abstract

This article describes the history of the first football sport in Uzbekistan, the creation of the first football team, and the development of football. At the same time, the opinion was expressed about the importance of sports (football) fanaticism. The article also notes that in 1913, the structure of the Tashkent society of sports fans was created, the basis of the «society of sports fans» were football fans of different ages and different spheres, in 1915, the first football championship was held in Turkestan, the role of fans in the first organized Cup of the country, «the era of Gennady Krasnitsky and brother Abduraimov», the local press of that time recognized the players of Pakhtakor as heroes of modern sports. It is analyzed that football in Uzbekistan has become the number one sport and managed to create a strong audience, «the tragedy Pakhtakor» where football is based not only on emotion but also on the differences between the mind, the limit of fanaticism, human factors, principles of justice, a sense of love for the Motherland, Patriotic mood of the fans through the football, defeat, and tragic fanaticism have played an important role in the professional orientation of many children, besides the pleasure of football. The article describes how fans were able to show their loyalty even in the most difficult moments, as well as the border between fan and fanaticism.
