Abstract

This article analyzes the information stereotypes formed in human consciousness and their impact on the process of accepting reliable information. It demonstrates how information stereotypes are shaped in human thinking, the factors that lead to their emergence, and how these stereotypes can diminish trust in information through various examples. Additionally, the article explains how individuals relate to information based on the phenomena of "cognitive dissonance" and "social proof." It highlights the rapid spread of incorrect or negative information through stereotypes in media and social networks, which can even provoke doubt about reliable data. In conclusion, it emphasizes that critical thinking and fact-based information analysis are essential factors in shaping a healthy information environment in society.
