SOCIAL SECURITY: SCIENTIFIC-THEORETICAL AND SOCIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS

Abstract

 This article provides a scientific analysis of the concept of social security and its role and significance in ensuring the national security of the country. In particular, the existence of the social security system is examined in connection with the interrelations among the individual, society, and the state, with substantiated priority directions for ensuring social stability. In explaining the essence of social security, such categories as the social sphere, social system, social group, and social community are analyzed as integral concepts, emphasizing their orientation toward ensuring the effective functioning of the social sphere of society. Furthermore, the theoretical foundations of this concept, scholarly approaches, and legal perspectives put forward by international organizations are examined. In addition, the scope of the concept of social security is broadly covered, and the factors influencing the provision of security in this field are systematically classified.
