Since the beginning of the 20th century, the problem of human potential has become relevant.
It should be borne in mind that human potential is considered not only as a force that meets the
economic needs of society, or as a single source of economic production, but, on the contrary, as an
important factor in the development of society. This article analyzes the role of free time in the
development of human potential and its impact on social life. Human potential is a set of intellectual,
social, physical and creative abilities of a person, which is important for his personal and professional
development. Effective time management in increasing human potential is of great importance. The
use of free time affects the mental, physical and social development of a person.
